Giulia is an Italian character designer and concept artist. She worked for many years for mobile games companies, but focused mainly on animation in the last five years, working mostly on short movies. Working on small projects she had the chance to tackle various aspects of pre-production, such as storyboarding or character and background design. In 2022 she earned the Toon Boom Harmony certification to have some more technical production knowledge that helped her with her first art direction roles.

She also occasionally worked as illustrator and colorist for various publishers, like Raffaello Editrice and Disney publishing.

Since 2022 she is a proud teacher of the amazing students of the Scuola Internazionale di Comics di Reggio Emilia.

She has a master degree in History of Contemporary art, but got her technical education in schools like Scuola romana dei fumetti, The Animation Workshop, Idea Academy and through many other online classes.

She likes to draw old people, intriguing ladies, interiors with a personality and suspended moments in big landscapes.

She is a tea drinker, fast thinker, punk music listener and plant lover, so you can expect her desk to be hidden in an indoor jungle.
